The Theremin (more info here). Clara Rockmore was a famous exponent of the instrument as can be seen here. Click here for Jimmy Page playing the theremin. See below to watch Leon Theremin.
"Bill, the exploration is over. It will never be over. There is Mercury and the Moons of Jupiter and maybe not Saturn yet but Uranus and Neptune. There are a lot of stars out there and if the corporation doesn't do it, somebody else will." (Intro to Man from Probus)
It was good publicity that Andrea sent the cd into JJJ
It was good talking to Peter Hood the drummer from The Atlantics at Bosco's shop July 17th, 2000
I remember celebrating my dad Frank's 73rd birthday on this day the 25th of April 1999 with a classic beautiful Sunday drive in the Adelaide hills with my mum and Andrea to Ashton. His birthday fell on ANZAC DAY so we always watched the the parade in the morning waiting for the Polish contingent. We then played to a packed Hotel to top the day off. He thought i was always "drumming my head off."
Just came back in time after celebrating Andrea's 40th in Broome to do this gig. It was good to catch up with Tom (Lonely Cosmonauts) and Jill.
